Meet LeMajor “Lee” Hill
Candidate for Roanoke City Sheriff
My name is LeMajors “Lee” Hill. I’m proud to be a lifelong resident of Roanoke City, a devoted husband, father, and a dedicated public servant with over 30 years of law enforcement experience.
I’ve been married to my wonderful wife for 31 years, and together we’ve raised three amazing adult children who share our commitment to community and service.
I began my career in law enforcement with the Roanoke City Sheriff's Office in 1995, where I proudly served for 25 years, retiring as the Assistant Commander of the Services Division. My role allowed me to work closely with both staff and citizens, ensuring public safety, building programs, and fostering relationships that strengthened our community from within.
But my commitment to leadership didn’t end there. I’m a Certified John Maxwell Leadership Speaker, Trainer, and Coach, using my platform to inspire others and help the next generation of leaders rise with integrity and vision.
Service to my community is personal. That’s why I volunteer as a baseball coach at William Fleming High School, mentoring our youth and showing them the power of discipline, teamwork, and positive role models.
I’m running for Sheriff of Roanoke City because I believe in leading with integrity, building trust through transparency, and serving every member of our community with respect and accountability. Roanoke City deserves a Sheriff who leads with integrity, takes action, and is dedicated to creating a safer, stronger, and more connected community for all.
Together, we can build a future where law enforcement doesn't just protect, it partners with the people it serves.
